Jean Fox -  Designer


Jean Fox began her design career in Columbus, Ohio, where she attended The Ohio State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design.   She is a Florida licensed designer and brings with her over 27 years of diverse experience in the home building/residential design industry.

Before joining Charlene Neal PureStyle, Jean was a Divisional Merchandising Director for a national home builder and has merchandised over 50 award-winning models for numerous home builders thoughtout the state of Florida.  Her past experience also includes designing for high-end furnishings companies and managing design centers for a luxury home builder.  

“My professional background has taught me that being a good Interior Designer is all about building relationships and understanding the client’s needs.  It is very rewarding to create a custom design that not only reflects the personal taste of each client, but also enhances their lifestyle.”

Jeans’ sense of creativity is strongly influenced by her love of art, color and architecture combined with her life experiences of traveling within the states and abroad while residing in various cities across the Midwest.   Residing in Florida since 1990, her personal favorite style is one of casual sophistication that blends transitional furnishings with the colors and textures of nature found along the coastal areas.

Jean keeps herself involved as a participant an supporter of various fund-raisers.  She also enjoys volunteering with Community Out-Reach, Safe Children’s Coalition and as a Tampa Bay Parade of Homes Judge.

Stephanie Nolan  -  Designer


Stephanie Nolan is a transplant from New England and has over 11 years experience in the interior design field.   Educated at Endicott College (NCIDQ accredited program) in Beverly, Massachusetts; Stephanie graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design.  Her professional experience includes designing for well known architectural firms in the Cambridge, Massachusetts area.
Heavily influenced from growing up in an historic, waterfront community in Bristol, Rhode Island; Stephanie’s personal design style is a blend of traditional and coastal.  She has a strong passion for traditional architectural detailing, cottage and coastal elements.

Stephanie’s interests include colonial American history as well as architectural and landscape photography.  She is an avid reader and enjoys being an active mother.

Her personal home was showcased on HGTV’s show “National Open House” back in 2005.

Janet Ladwig -  Designer


Janet Ladwig was born and raised in Minnesota and pursued a formal education in Interior Design at North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND.  She moved to Florida to complete an internship with a well-known home builder and before summer’s end, transferred schools and relocated to continue her job professional career.  Janet graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from International Academy of Design and Technology, Tampa, FL.  Prior to joining Charlene at PureSTYLE, Janet’s experience also includes being an in-house designer for a high-end furnishings company in Sarasota.

Florida’s Suncoast has been Janet’s home since 2007 and the design style she is drawn to most is a transitional look with coastal influences.  “My design philosophy is rooted in my belief that people’s lives will be enhanced in every aspect by improving their built environment.  This is most successfully achieved by designers being exposed to different styles of design through travel, work experience and training in the design industry.  This combination will make for a more well-rounded and successful designer.”

Janet has been a participant in Relay for Life walks benefiting breast cancer research and is a supporter of the South West Florida Figure Skating Club.
